Underwear Made From Bananas Hits Australian Shops

Eco-friendly underwear? Australian underwear company AussieBum has launched it new range of men’s underwear made with Banana.
The new organic underpants are made with 27 percent banana fibre from the weave of the bark from banana tree, and 64 percent cotton and nine percent of spandex.
The company noted on its website that it will provide “ultimate comfort with eco friendly flavor.”
One pair of the underpants is priced at $29.04, according to the website.
The company’s official told Reuters that “Naturally you can’t really add any more banana fibre than that because it might be a bit squishy.”
He added that wearers did not have to worry about real monkeys because the underwear did not smell like a banana.
